Rennes youngster Ousmane Dembele does not expect to force his way into the France squad for Euro 2016 despite being on national boss Didier Deschamps' radar. Dembele, 18, has scored nine goals in his debut season in Ligue 1 and Deschamps told L'Equipe that the forward could potentially be called up to France's senior team in the coming months. Dembele has scored seven goals since the turn of the year, including a hat-trick against Nantes, leading to comparisons with Cristiano Ronaldo and attracting the attention of scouts from clubs like Barcelona, Bayer Leverkusen and Arsenal. The Rennes academy graduate picked up his fourth assist of the season as his side came back from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Lyon on Sunday. But the France under-19 international is not banking on a surprise inclusion for Euro 2016. "He watches a lot of people anyway and that doesn't bother me," L'Equipe reported Dembele as saying of Deschamps' comments. "I don't think I'll be called up for the Euros even if you never know." On Saturday, Deschamps had confirmed in L'Equipe that Dembele was a player of interest to him. "I'm watching Dembele too, even if he's young, which is not a handicap," the former Monaco and Marseille manager said. "People have talked about him to me for two years. We'll say that he should be left in peace. "Before his hat-trick [against Nantes], he did other things. He's quick, he has two feet, he can play in three positions in attack, and he's only going to improve. "It is too early? It all depends on the competition, but obviously I'm watching him."
