Juventus have already signed Patrik Schick - Inter's Walter Sabatini

Inter Milan have all but given up hope of signing Patrik Schick from Sampdoria as he has already agreed terms with Juventus, according to the Suning Group's technical director Walter Sabatini.

Sabatini, who is overseeing the transfer and business strategies of both Suning-owned clubs Jiangsu and Inter Milan, is currently in Italy working on building the Nerazzurri's squad for next season.

One of the names linked with a move to Milan has been Schick, but Sabatini has said it is an avenue he is not likely to pursue.

"I think he's already been signed by Juventus," he told Il Corriere dello Sport when asked whether the 21-year-old Czech forward was one of his priorities.

Juve have yet to confirm a deal is in place and the man representing him in Italy, Bruno Satin, says the player has not yet decided where he wants to play next season.

"He's currently evaluating his future," Satin told Radio Kiss Kiss. "Napoli have also made enquiries and he is just thinking of what is the best choice."

According to Sampdoria president Massimo Ferrero, the best choice would be for him to stay in Genoa for one more season. He recently said he does not mind striking a deal to sell him this summer, just as long as he is loaned back to his club for 2017-18.

That is also the desire of Schick's strike partner at Sampdoria, Fabio Quagliarella.

"I would advise him to stay another year at Samp to confirm all of the good things he has done and continue his development," Quagliarella told Sky Sport. "I've never played with a player like him."

Schick is also reported to have been watched by scouts from Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea this season.
