Phil Jones has told ESPN FC he is relishing the prospect of lining up against Manchester United teammates Romelu Lukaku and Marouane Fellaini when England face Belgium in their final World Cup group game on Thursday.
The match in Kaliningrad will decide who finishes top of Group G, with both sides already through to the round of 16 after two wins out of two.
Jones could get his first chance to impress in Russia, with manager Gareth Southgate set to rotate his squad against Roberto Martinez's side, and that could mean a battle against Fellaini or Lukaku, who has already scored four World Cup goals after bagging 27 in his debut season at Old Trafford.
"We know what Felli is capable of," Jones said. "He's a difficult player to play against. He's tall, he's strong. I'm sure the United lads will try and give the others an insight into how he plays.
"I remember playing against him for United when he played for Everton and he's difficult. He's a different type of player to the ones you come up against in the Premier League. We'll study that and relish the challenge of playing against him.
"Romelu is a good player. He's strong, quick and he scores goals."
Jones made his World Cup debut in England's final group game four years ago, but by the time he faced Costa Rica in Brazil they had crashed out following defeats to Italy and Uruguay.
"It wasn't great last time," he said. "We lost the first two games and then we were out the competition.
"I managed to play in the World Cup against Costa Rica and it was a good experience for me, but it wasn't the type of environment you wanted to play in because we knew we were already out."
