ZURICH -- FIFA vice president Prince Ali bin Al-Hussein wants key parts of an investigation into allegations of World Cup bid corruption to be published.

- Blatter praises FIFA ethics

The Jordanian prince says football followers "have a full right to know the contents of the report in the spirit of complete openness."

Michael Garcia, the independent prosecutor appointed by FIFA who is leading the investigation, also wants to ease confidentiality rules which keep his work secret.

He delivered initial reports this month to ethics judge Joachim Eckert, who expects to give verdicts next year.

However, only the final decisions are due to be published.

Prince Ali says Garcia's reports "should be fully disclosed to the FIFA executive committee."

Garcia has quizzed FIFA board members about the 2018 and 2022 bid contests won by Russia and Qatar.
