FC Dallas has announced that contract options have been exercised on 10 players, while seven others have not had their deals renewed.
2016 MLS defender of the year and U.S. international Matt Hedges, as well as Dallas' joint-leading scorers last season, Michael Barrios and Maxi Urruti, were among those whose options were picked up.
Also set to stay at Toyota Stadium are Tesho Akindele, Maynor Figueroa, Timo Pitter, Colin Bonner, Aaron Guillen, Jesse Gonzalez and Chris Seitz.
Meanwhile, options for Aubrey David, Carlos Lizarazo, Getterson, Juan Esteban Ortiz, Mauro Rosales, Norberto Paparatto and Ryan Herman were not exercised, while Zach Loyd, Atiba Harris and Carlos Ruiz are out of contract.
