Everton defender Luke Garbutt has committed his long-term future to the club by signing a five-year contract.
The 22-year-old's new agreement was confirmed on Tuesday, just as his previous deal was set to expire.
Garbutt, who joined Everton's youth set-up from Leeds in 2009, has been linked with Premier League newcomers Bournemouth this summer.
The left-back made eight starts for the Toffees last season, four of which were in the Europa League, serving as deputy for Leighton Baines.
He also started all three of England's matches in the Czech Republic as they went out of the European Under-21 Championships at the group stage in June.
Garbutt's Everton future had been the subject of speculation during the second half of last season as his contract ran down.
Manager Roberto Martinez said in May that he wanted the defender to stay, but understood any concerns he might have about not playing regularly -- with Baines the first choice at left-back.
Garbutt told Everton's website: "Over the years, I have grown to have an affinity with the club and I feel a sense of belonging here.
"Under the manager, the future looks bright and positive and I want to be a part of that," Garbutt said.
"Last season was great for me in continuing my development -- my personal highlight being the Europa League adventure as I gained a lot of experience in those games, playing against top-quality opposition.
"Everything we went through last season and the experience we gained as a group will only make us stronger as a team ahead of the new season."
