Three Russians get prison for Euro 2016 violence before England match

Three Russian fans have been given prison terms for their part in violence ahead of Saturday's European Championship game between England and Russia.

A French court sentenced Alexei Erunov, Sergei Gorbachev and Nikolai Morozov to two years, 18 months and 12 months, respectively.

Also on Thursday, French authorities said they would deport 20 Russian men next Monday for their role in the violence.

Those men are among 43 Russian fans who were detained on Tuesday after their bus was stopped by French police near the town of Mandelieu in a check for hooligans.
