Alexis Nunes and Shaka Hislop run the rule over the latest transfer rumours in the world of football.

Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku is out of Belgium's Euro 2020 qualifier in Cyprus on Sunday with a foot injury.

Lukaku sat out United's FA Cup defeat at Wolves last weekend and also missed Belgium's qualifying win over Russia on Thursday, with the Belgian FA confirming that he would not be fit to play against Cyprus.

In a statement on Twitter, the association said: "@RomeluLukaku9 will not travel with us to Cyprus this morning due to a foot injury. Get well soon, Romelu!"

England's 'electric' Raheem Sterling no surprise to manager Gareth Southgate

Raheem Sterling scored his first international hat trick and won a penalty kick as England thumped the Czech Republic in Euro 2020 qualifying.
Shaka Hislop says the attributes that helped Raheem Sterling score his first England hat trick didn't exist in his game 18 months ago.

England manager Gareth Southgate hailed "electric" Raheem Sterling as the Manchester City forward, not long ago a target for boos, scored his first international hat trick in the 5-0 thrashing of the Czech Republic on Friday.

A slick England attack ran rings around the Czechs with teenager Jadon Sancho outstanding alongside captain Harry Kane, but Sterling stole the show.

The 24-year-old converted Sancho's cross after 23 minutes and then won the penalty that Kane powered in on the stroke of half-time.

Real Madrid's Courtois: Spanish press out to 'kill' me, I'm one of world's best

European Championship Qualifying: Denis Cheryshev (16') Belgium 1-1 Russia
Gab Marcotti joins ESPN FC to talk Real Madrid's chances of signing Eden Hazard this summer.
Eden Hazard made amends for Thibaut Courtois' goalkeeping howler with two goals in Belgium's 3-1 win over Russia.
European Championship Qualifying: Eden Hazard (88') Belgium 3-1 Russia

Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois said the Spanish press are out to "kill" him, and he considers himself "one of the best in the world."

Courtois has endured a difficult campaign at Real Madrid since joining from Chelsea in the summer and an ill-calculated dribble during Belgium's Euro 2020 qualifier against Russia resulted in the 26-year-old being dispossessed in his area which allowed Denis Cheryshev to equalise -- though the hosts went on to win 3-1.

The mistake completed a difficult week...

Italian football has lost appeal through racism and financial issues - FA president

Gab Marcotti shares his takeaways from a Milan derby that 'had everything,' as Inter move up to third with a victory over their biggest rivals.
Alexis Nunes and Ale Moreno flex their knowledge in predicting European Qualifying fixtures containing Belgium, England and France.
Alejandro Moreno addresses the latest rumours surrounding Alexis Sanchez, Sadio Mane, Antoine Griezmann and more in Transfer Rater.

The president of the Italian Football Federation (FIGC), Gabriele Gravina, says he is working hard to restore credibility to the Italian game after years in which he claims it has "lost its appeal."

Racism and violence have continued to overshadow Italian football and in the last week alone Inter Milan were handed a suspended sentence for racist chanting in Sunday's Milan derby and Fiorentina fans were condemned for unsavoury chants aimed at a dying Cagliari fan.

Gravina was elected president of...

Kane: England winning Nations League would beat World Cup run

With the UEFA Nations League semifinals set, Craig Burley believes a resurgent Netherlands side will give England all they can handle.
Netherlands' Virgil van Dijk insists there is a new buzz around the national team and they are ready to face anyone including a resurgent and impressive England side.

England captain Harry Kane has said winning the inaugural UEFA Nations League would surpass last year's run to the World Cup semifinals.

The striker was a key member of the squad that made history in Russia under Gareth Southgate, winning the Golden Boot and helping England reach the final four of a major tournament for the first time in 22 years.

England begin their qualifying campaign for Euro 2020 against Czech Republic at Wembley on Friday before travelling to Montenegro for a second qualifier...
