Riot police were needed to break up fighting between England and Lithuania fans during their Euro 2016 qualifier on Monday night.
According to the Telegraph, some England supporters apparently bought tickets in the home end of the LFF Stadionas in Vilnius rather than in their designated section, which was properly segregated by police.
Police moved angry Lithuania fans to a corner and the England fans were allowed to stay in their seats.
When England's Ross Barkley opened the scoring in the first half, the police turned a hose on the home supporters to prevent further incidents, according to the report.
The scenes could be subject to a UEFA investigation with Lithuania failing to separate fans as well as England supporters buying seats in the wrong section.
