When does the 2019-20 Premier League season start and end?

The 2019-20 Premier League season will kick off on Friday, Aug. 9 when Liverpool host newly promoted Norwich City. You can see the fixtures for the season in full right here.

The transfer window will close before the season begins, at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 8.

Norwich, Sheffield United and Aston Villa have been promoted to the Premier League. 

The Premier League will use VAR for the first time in all games.

The season will end on Sunday, May 17.
