MANCHESTER, England -- Pep Guardiola has indicated that he is not keen on the idea of switching Manchester City's clash with Tottenham Hotspur to the Etihad Stadium, with the venue for the game in October still unknown. Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino has said he does not know where the match, scheduled for Oct. 28, will be played as delays hit the opening of the London club's new stadium, with a possibility that its date could be changed. Tottenham have moved their first three fixtures to Wembley, where they played home games last season, but switching the City match to the national stadium is complicated because an NFL game scheduled for the same day. Sources have told ESPN FC that there has been no dialogue between the two clubs over the fixture. However, the possibility of swapping the game would leave City facing six of their last eight matches away, including trips to Manchester United and Spurs. "We want to help the Premier League, I think we didn't release any statement about Tottenham, we don't know anything," City manager Guardiola told a news conference. "This can happen because you build an amazing stadium for Tottenham Hotspur -- sometimes there are delays, this kind of thing happens. "I don't know, we are going to adapt if we can adapt and of course we are going to think of ourselves as well, and of course the Premier League. "I can only say, when that happens, [of] the last five games four are away, I think, so when you are maybe playing for the Premier League, four games away is a little bit different. "I'm a manager for what happens on the pitch, this is off the pitch. In the end if Tottenham want to suggest something they'll speak with our CEO, and our people and the best for the Premier League, and we are going to decide."
