Premier League team news: Injuries and suspensions update

CRYSTAL PALACE VS. TOTTENHAM

CRYSTAL PALACE: Crystal Palace are without 12 injured senior players. A groin injury suffered by Yohan Cabaye made him the most recent to be ruled out. Julian Speroni, Joel Ward, Martin Kelly, Scott Dann, Mamadou Sakho, Jeffrey Schlupp, Jason Puncheon, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Wilfried Zaha, Bakary Sako and Connor Wickham are all again expected to be absent.

TOTTENHAM: Tottenham are likely to leave Toby Alderweireld out of their squad as a precaution. The Belgium defender has been struggling with a hamstring problem over recent months and failed to complete training on Thursday after feeling discomfort in the same area. Lucas Moura's fitness will also be monitored after he started his first game of the season against Rochdale last weekend.

MAN UNITED: Ander Herrera is out for the next few weeks. The Spain midfielder's attempted backheel at Sevilla in the Champions League aggravated a muscular injury, meaning Paul Pogba could return to the starting line-up. Marouane Fellaini, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Daley Blind, Marcos Rojo and Phil Jones remain absent, while Eric Bailly is in line to make his first United start since November.

CHELSEA: Chelsea will continue to be without injured trio David Luiz, Ross Barkley and Tiemoue Bakayoko. Defender Luiz is out with an ankle issue, while Barkley has a hamstring problem and fellow midfielder Bakayoko has an unspecified knock. Strikers Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud are pushing for starts after Blues manager Antonio Conte opted to play Eden Hazard as a false nine in the midweek Champions League draw with Barcelona.

ARSENAL: Aaron Ramsey is winning his battle to be fit. The Wales international has missed the last three games with a groin injury but Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is confident he will now be ready to be involved at Wembley. Mesut Ozil is also expected to be available after illness while Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang can plan having been ineligible in the Europa League - meanwhile Alexandre Lacazette (knee) and Santi Cazorla (Achilles) are out and Henrikh Mkhitaryan is cup-tied.

Oleksandr Zinchenko or Danilo could feature with Benjamin Mendy (knee) out long term. Manager Pep Guardiola has confirmed Claudio Bravo will retain his place in goal having featured in all domestic cup matches this season.
