Arsenal's Laurent Koscielny fit to start derby; Tottenham play Kieran Trippier

Laurent Koscielny is fit to start for Arsenal in Sunday's North London derby at Tottenham Hotspur after overcoming a knee injury as Arsene Wenger sticks to his back-three formation.

Koscielny hurt his knee in Wednesday's win over Leicester and Wenger had given him a 60 percent chance of playing against Tottenham.

But the France international will be part of Arsenal's back three together with Gabriel Paulista and Nacho Monreal, who was preferred to Rob Holding as the third centre-back.

That means Kieran Gibbs retains the left wing-back position, with Olivier Giroud starting up front.

Tottenham make two changes from the 1-0 win at Crystal Palace on Wednesday, with Mousa Dembele only fit enough for the bench after being replaced at half-time at Selhurst Park with an ankle problem.

Kyle Walker returns to the bench, where he started the FA Cup semifinal defeat to Chelsea, as Kieran Trippier is again preferred at right-back, while Son Heung-Min also returns to the XI.

Eric Dier's selection gives Mauricio Pochettino the option to play either 4-2-3-1 or three centre-backs, with Christian Eriksen is a deeper role.

Tottenham XI: Lloris, Trippier, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Davies, Dier, Wanyama, Son, Eriksen, Dele, Kane.

Arsenal XI: Cech, Gabriel, Koscielny, Monreal, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Ramsey, Xhaka, Gibbs, Ozil, Alexis, Giroud.
