Tottenham Hotspur's secret attacking superstar

Tottenham Hotspur are having a remarkable season. Coming off of a season where everything went right -- at least until the very tail end -- Spurs have actually improved despite facing considerably more adversity. They currently sit in second place with a five-point lead and a game in hand over Liverpool, and a seven-point lead over Manchester City. This is despite medium-term absences to their best striker (Harry Kane), their best defender (Toby Alderweireld), and now their ever-present holding midfielder (Victor Wanyama). One obvious (and much publicized) reason for the team's success has been Dele Alli, but equally as important has been the steady contribution of another midfielder. Christian Eriksen is quietly putting in a superstar season for Tottenham.
