Premier League midweek team news: Injuries and suspensions update

TUESDAY'S GAMES

- BURNLEY

Sean Dyche will select from an unchanged Burnley squad for the visit of Stoke to Turf Moor. Johann Berg Gudmundsson (knee) is "more or less'' back in full training and could be considered for the trip to Middlesbrough at the weekend. Although Dean Marney (knee) is out for the season, Dyche still has other midfield options in Steven Defour and Robbie Brady, both of whom were used from the bench in the loss to Tottenham on Saturday.

Provisional squad: Heaton, Robinson, Pope, Lowton, Keane, Mee, Long, Ward, Darikwa, Tarkowski, Brady, Barton, Flanagan, Boyd, Hendrick, Westwood, Arfield, Vokes, Gray, Agyei.

- STOKE CITY

Defender Phil Bardsley will return to contention after missing out at Leicester through suspension, but Mark Hughes will assess both Geoff Cameron and Peter Crouch, who was withdrawn on Saturday after taking a knock on a knee. Cameron recently returned from a four-month lay-off due to knee ligament damage, but did not feature at the weekend, while Xherdan Shaqiri also remains sidelined. Switzerland international Shaqiri (calf) returned to training on Monday, Hughes confirmed, but will not feature as he attempts to recover full fitness and put an injury-hit season behind him. Goalkeeper Jack Butland (ankle) is still not ready to return to match action and Glen Johnson (shoulder) is also an absentee.

Provisional squad: Grant, Given, Shawcross, Bardsley, Pieters, Martins Indi, Muniesa, Cameron, Whelan, Adam, Imbula, Allen, Afellay, Arnautovic, Sobhi, Walters, Crouch, Berahino, Diouf, Bony.

- LEICESTER CITY

Leicester look like having an unchanged squad. That means that captain Wes Morgan will remain out with his back injury along with midfielder Nampalys Mendy, who is still nursing a knee problem. On-loan defender Molla Wague is out for the season with a dislocated shoulder. Craig Shakespeare may name an unchanged team as he looks to maintain his 100 percent winning record as Foxes boss with a sixth straight victory in all competitions.

Fellow striker Victor Anichebe is still feeling some pain in his knee as he bids to return from a lengthy layoff.
