Premier League weekend team news: Injuries and suspensions

SATURDAY'S GAMES

- CRYSTAL PALACE

Crystal Palace are not expected to start either Mamadou Sakho or Luka Milivojevic. Sakho is short of match fitness, while fellow new signing Milivojevic's availability is being delayed by an issue with his visa. Bakary Sako and Jeffrey Schlupp, both owing to hamstring injuries, are also unavailable, while Steve Mandanda remains short of match fitness.

Provisional squad: Hennessey, Mandanda, Speroni, Ward, Kelly, Tomkins, Delaney, Dann, Sakho, Van Aanholt, Flamini, McArthur, Ledley, Townsend, Kaikai, Cabaye, Zaha, Campbell, Remy, Lee, Husin, Phillips, Fryers, C Benteke.

- SUNDERLAND

New signings Bryan Oviedo and Darron Gibson could go straight into the squad after completing their moves from Everton. Full-back Oviedo, who has not made a senior appearance since November, has more chance of being involved than midfielder Gibson, whose last league game was in May. Manager David Moyes has no fresh injury problems, but keeper Jordan Pickford, defenders Jan Kirchhoff and Paddy McNair, and strikers Victor Anichebe and Duncan Watmore (all knee), as well as midfielder Lee Cattermole (hip), are still sidelined and defender Papy Djilobodji is suspended.

Provisional squad: Mannone, Mika, Jones, Manquillo, Oviedo, Love, O'Shea, Kone, Lescott, Denayer, Rodwell, Ndong, Gibson, Larsson, Borini, Pienaar, Januzaj, Gooch, Honeyman, Defoe, Maja.

- EVERTON

Idrissa Gana Gueye is set to return after his stint at the African Nations Cup with Senegal came to an end. The midfielder was not considered for the midweek draw at Stoke but manager Ronald Koeman believes the extra few days have given him time to be ready. It gives Koeman a decision to make in terms of the make-up of his midfield as Morgan Schneiderlin is set for his home debut and youngster Tom Davies has impressed in recent weeks.

Provisional squad: Robles, Williams, Funes Mori, Holgate, Coleman, Baines, Schneiderlin, Gueye, Barkley, Mirallas, Lukaku, Stekelenburg, Jagielka, Barry, Davies, McCarthy, Lookman, Lennon, Valencia.

- BOURNEMOUTH

Bournemouth must do without Callum Wilson after the forward was ruled out for the rest of the season with knee ligament damage suffered in training. Left-back Charlie Daniels is also not available as he recovers from the hamstring problem which forced him to miss the midweek defeat to Crystal Palace. Midfielder Marc Wilson and forward Lewis Grabban secured deadline day moves away from the club, while 18-year-old goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale is expected to be in the squad after his recent move from Sheffield United.

Provisional squad: Boruc, A Smith, S Cook, B Smith, Francis, Stanislas, King, Wilshere, Fraser, Surman, Afobe, Ramsdale, Gosling, Pugh, Mings, Arter, Ibe, Mousset.

- HULL

New boys Kamil Grosicki and Alfred N'Diaye will both feature. Andrea Ranocchia is also pushing for his first start for the Tigers after coming off the bench in the second half of his side's goalless draw at Manchester United in midweek. Dieumerci Mbokani is available after returning from African Nations Cup duty but Ahmed Elmohamady is still absent while Lazar Markovic misses out against his parent club.

Provisional squad: Marshall, Jakupovic, Maguire, Dawson, Ranocchia, Robertson, Elabdellaoui, Meyler, Huddlestone, Grosicki, Clucas, N'Diaye, Maloney, Evandro, Diomande, Hernandez, Mbokani, Niasse, Tymon, Bowen.

- LIVERPOOL

Forward Sadio Mane is set for his first Liverpool start since Jan. 2. The forward, who returned from the African Nations Cup earlier in the week, came off the bench against Chelsea on Tuesday but is now ready to go from the off. Right-back Nathaniel Clyne continues to play with a rib injury but otherwise manager Jurgen Klopp has his strongest available squad.

Provisional squad: Mignolet, Clyne, Lovren, Matip, Milner, Henderson, Wijnaldum, Lallana, Mane, Firmino, Coutinho, Karius, Alexander-Arnold, Klavan, Moreno, Lucas, Can, Sturridge, Origi.

- SOUTHAMPTON

Southampton defender Virgil van Dijk has been ruled out for up to three months with an ankle injury. But Jay Rodriguez and James Ward-Prowse are back in training after spells out and could be added to the squad. New striker Manolo Gabbiadini will also be involved, although manager Claude Puel has yet to decide whether to hand him a place in the starting line-up.

Provisional squad: Forster, Taylor, Bertrand, Yoshida, Gardos, Cedric, Hesketh, Romeu, Clasie, Ward-Prowse, Boufal, Isgrove, Tadic, Redmond, Lewis, Stephens, Hojbjerg, McQueen, Sims, Rodriguez, Gabbiadini, Long.

- WEST HAM

Senegal midfielder Cheikhou Kouyate is back in the West Ham squad having returned from the African Nations Cup. Right-back Sam Byram felt his hamstring after the midweek 4-0 defeat by Manchester City and will be assessed. Robert Snodgrass could make his full debut after coming on as a substitute against City while fellow January signing Jose Fonte makes a swift return to his old club.

Provisional squad: Randolph, Adrian, Fonte, Reid, Collins, Byram, Cresswell, Kouyate, Noble, Nordtveit, Obiang, Quina, Fernandes, Snodgrass, Antonio, Feghouli, Lanzini, Carroll, Calleri, Fletcher.

- WATFORD

Mauro Zarate could make his Watford debut. The Argentina forward joined the Hornets from Fiorentina a week ago but had to serve a suspension following his sending off in a Coppa Italia tie. Defender Jose Holebas is also available after completing his two-game ban for collecting 10 bookings. On-loan AC Milan frontman M'Baye Niang could again start having impressed in the midweek win at Arsenal, but defender Christian Kabasele (hamstring) will be assessed while goalkeeper Costel Pantilimon (leg) remains out.

Provisional squad: Gomes, Prodl, Cathcart, Kaboul, Britos, Niang, Behrami, Cleverley, Capoue, Deeney, Janmaat, Arlauskis, Okaka, Success, Doucoure, Mason, Watson, Mariappa, Zarate, Holebas, Kabasele.

- BURNLEY

Robbie Brady and Ashley Westwood could make their debuts. Wide man Brady -- the Clarets' record signing -- and midfielder Westwood both joined the Turf Moor outfit on transfer deadline day, arriving from Norwich and Aston Villa respectively. Steven Defour came off with a hamstring injury in the first half of the 1-0 win over Leicester that evening, and boss Sean Dyche says ``it could be beyond a couple of weeks'' in terms of how long the midfielder might be out for.

Provisional squad: Heaton, Robinson, Lowton, Keane, Mee, Ward, Flanagan, Darikwa, Tarkowski, Brady, Barton, Boyd, Hendrick, Westwood, Gudmundsson, Arfield, Vokes, Gray, Barnes.

- WEST BROM

Jonny Evans is still sidelined with a calf injury. The defender has missed the last four games with the problem and boss Tony Pulis admits he is becoming frustrated with his slow recovery. New £10m midfielder Jake Livermore is still waiting to make his debut after being an unused substitute in Tuesday's 1-1 draw at Middlesbrough and is pushing to start.

Provisional squad: Foster, Myhill, Dawson, Olsson, McAuley, Nyom, Galloway, Wilson, Brunt, Yacob, Fletcher, Livermore, Field, Chadli, Phillips, Morrison, McClean, Robson-Kanu, Leko, Rondon.

- STOKE

Stoke will be without Swiss winger Xherdan Shaqiri because of a calf problem. Forward Saido Berahino is expected to feature against his former club, having made his debut in the 1-1 draw with Everton, while defender Glen Johnson is closing in on a return from his Achilles injury. Forwards Wilfried Bony and Mame Biram Diouf are set to be in the squad having returned from international duty at the African Nations Cup, but midfielder Ramadan Sobhi is still away in Gabon as Egypt prepare for the final. Jonathan Walters (knee), Geoff Cameron (knee), goalkeeper Jack Butland (ankle) and Stephen Ireland (broken leg) all continue their recoveries.

Provisional squad: Grant, Pieters, Martins Indi, Bardsley, Shawcross, Afellay, Whelan, Adam, Allen, Arnautovic, Crouch, Given, Bony, Muniesa, Edwards, Imbula, Ngoy, Berahino, Diouf, Johnson.

- TOTTENHAM

Danny Rose is one of five Tottenham players expected to miss out through injury. Rose has a knee problem and will see a specialist on Monday while Jan Vertonghen (ankle), Erik Lamela (hip), Georges-Kevin Nkoudou (knee) and Kieran Trippier (hip) are also out. Spurs goalkeeper Hugo Lloris, however, is available again after he sat out Tuesday's draw at Sunderland due to illness.

Provisional squad: Lloris, Vorm, Lopez, Davies, Alderweireld, Dier, Carter-Vickers, Wimmer, Walker, Wanyama, Winks, Dembele, Eriksen, Alli, Sissoko, Onomah, Son, Janssen, Kane.

- MIDDLESBROUGH

Middlesbrough head coach Aitor Karanka will have deadline day signing Adlene Guedioura available. Algeria international Guedioura, who joined the club from Watford, could go straight into the squad and may be joined by defender Calum Chambers following his return to training after a foot injury. However, full-back George Friend will sit out once again with a calf muscle injury picked up during the 1-0 FA Cup fourth round victory over Accrington, while midfielder Gaston Ramirez, the subject of a failed transfer window bid from champions Leicester, is expected to resume training early next week following a knee problem.

Provisional squad: Valdes, Guzan, Chambers, Fabio, Gibson, Espinosa, Fry, De Roon, Clayton, Forshaw, Leadbitter, Guedioura, Downing, Stuani, Traore, Fischer, Negredo, Gestede, Bamford.

SUNDAY'S GAMES

- MAN CITY

Willy Caballero could keep his place in goal. The Argentinian has been preferred to Claudio Bravo for City's last two games and he could be retained after keeping clean sheets in both. Top scorer Sergio Aguero could return to the starting line-up after being on the bench in midweek. City have no injury issues aside from long-term absentee Ilkay Gundogan.

Provisional squad: Caballero, Bravo, Zabaleta, Sagna, Otamendi, Stones, Kompany, Clichy, Kolarov, Toure, Fernando, Fernandinho, Delph, Silva, Sterling, Sane, De Bruyne, Nolito, Navas, Aguero, Jesus, Iheanacho.

- SWANSEA

Swansea are expected to be unchanged for the third successive Premier League game. But Ki Sung-yueng and Luciano Narsingh, who provided a match-winning assist on debut as a substitute in the 2-1 midweek win against Southampton, could come in to contention if head coach Paul Clement decides to freshen his side up. Club captain Leon Britton has returned to training this week and will be part of the travelling squad.

Provisional squad: Fabianski, Naughton, Fernandez, Mawson, Olsson, Cork, Carroll, Fer, Routledge, Sigurdsson, Llorente, Nordfeldt, Rangel, Kingsley, Amat, Van der Hoorn, Britton, Ki, Fulton, Dyer, Narsingh, Borja.

- LEICESTER

Wantaway striker Leonardo Ulloa is still not fit for Leicester as he battles a thigh problem. The forward has resumed light training but will not face Manchester United on Sunday as he looks to build bridges following his transfer request last month. Fellow striker Islam Slimani is also out with a groin problem but new signing Molla Wague could play after he joined on loan from Udinese on deadline day and Daniel Amartey is back after the African Nations Cup with Ghana.

Provisional squad: Schmeichel, Zieler, Simpson, Morgan, Huth, Wasilewski, Wague, Chilwell, Fuchs, Mahrez, Drinkwater, Kapustka, King, Ndidi, Mendy, Amartey, Albrighton, Gray, Vardy, Okazaki, Musa.

- MAN UNITED

Phil Jones is likely to miss out with a foot complaint. A bruised foot saw the 24-year-old defender come off after 55 minutes against Hull on Wednesday, putting his place in jeopardy for a match that Eric Bailly is available for after the African Nations Cup. Teenager Dean Henderson is set to travel to Leicestershire as part of the squad having been recalled from his loan at Grimsby following an injury to third-choice goalkeeper Joel Pereira.

Provisional squad: De Gea, Romero, Henderson, Darmian, Fosu-Mensah, Valencia, Young, Rojo, Tuanzebe, Smalling, Bailly, Blind, Shaw, Carrick, Mata, Fellaini, Schweinsteiger, Herrera, Pogba, Lingard, Martial, Mkhitaryan, Rooney, Rashford, Ibrahimovic
