Chelsea and Belgium keeper Thibaut Courtois calms fears over eye injury

Belgium international Thibaut Courtois has reassured Chelsea fans that his eye injury is not serious.

Courtois, 24, has been seen sporting a red left eye which has led to concerns he could be set for a spell on the sidelines.

However, the goalkeeper, who was on the bench for Belgium's 1-1 draw with Netherlands on Wednesday, wrote on his Twitter account that he is OK.

A club source told ESPN FC that they are satisfied that there is no serious issue.

Courtois, whose Belgium side face Estonia on Sunday, is next set to be in action for Chelsea when they travel to Middlesbrough on Nov. 20 after the international break.

Antonio Conte's side are currently on a five-match winning streak in the Premier League and have not conceded a goal in any of those victories.
