Georginio Wijnaldum an injury concern for Liverpool after Netherlands defeat

Georginio Wijnaldum is an injury concern for Liverpool after limping off the pitch during Netherlands' World Cup qualifier against France on Monday.

Netherlands midfielder Wijnaldum was substituted after 62 minutes at the Amsterdam Arena, appearing to hold his hamstring, and was replaced by Bas Dost as his side lost 1-0.

The injury is a concern for Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp as he prepares his side for Monday night's meeting with Manchester United at Anfield.

Wijnaldum, 25, joined Liverpool from Newcastle in the summer and has started every Premier League game for the Reds this season.

His central midfield partner Adam Lallana is also a doubt for the United game after suffering a groin injury in the victory over Swansea City prior to the international break.

Midfielder Emre Can would be Wijnaldum's most likely replacement for the clash with United in what would be his first league start of the campaign.
