Premier League weekend team news: Injuries and suspensions

- LEICESTER

Robert Huth returns after completing his three-match ban. The defender is available following a violent conduct charge after a tangle with Marouane Fellaini at Manchester United at the end of last season. Jeff Schlupp remains available for boss Claudio Ranieri despite interest from West Brom and the defender being left out of the squad for last week's 2-1 opening day defeat at Hull. Gokhan Inler and Ritchie de Laet will not be included in the squad having been told they can leave the Foxes.

Provisional squad: Schmeichel, Zieler, Chilwell, Fuchs, Morgan, Huth, Rodriguez, Wasilewski, Simpson, Schlupp, King, Mendy, Drinkwater, James, Amartey, Gray, Kapustka, Albrighton, Mahrez, Musa, Okazaki, Vardy, Ulloa.

- ARSENAL

Arsene Wenger admits he may take what he considers a gamble and recall a number of players. Laurent Koscielny, Mesut Ozil and Olivier Giroud were all rested for the opening weekend defeat to Liverpool after their Euro 2016 exertions but Wenger may look to involve the trio at the King Power Stadium. Aaron Ramsey (hamstring) and Alex Iwobi (thigh) are missing after picking up injuries against Liverpool while Gabriel (ankle), Per Mertesacker, Danny Welbeck and Carl Jenkinson (all knee) are also sidelined.

Provisional squad: Cech, Ospina, Debuchy, Bellerin, Holding, Koscielny, Chambers, Gibbs, Monreal, Coquelin, Elneny, Xhaka, Cazorla, Wilshere, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Ozil, Sanchez, Campbell, Walcott, Akpom, Giroud.

SUNDAY'S GAMES

- SUNDERLAND

Sunderland boss David Moyes will be without central defenders Lamine Kone and Younes Kaboul. Kone is out with a back problem with his future on Wearside still uncertain, while Watford have been given permission to speak to Kaboul after the two clubs agreed a fee for his sale. Fabio Borini is a doubt with a toe problem, while fellow midfielder Lee Cattermole could be out of action for up to six weeks after undergoing surgery to repair a double hernia and Billy Jones (hip), Jan Kirchhoff (hamstring) and Sebastian Larsson (knee) are all still out, although Steven Pienaar could be involved after signing a one-year deal.

Provisional squad: Mannone, Pickford, Love, Djilobodji, McNair, O'Shea, Van Aanholt, Rodwell, Gooch, Lens, Khazri, Borini, Januzaj, Pienaar, Asoro, Defoe, Watmore.

- MIDDLESBROUGH

Daniel Ayala could make an unexpected return to contention for Sunday's Wear-Tees derby clash. Centre-half Ayala was thought to be some distance from a return to action after being ruled out of all Boro's pre-season games with an ankle injury -- which forced him to sit out the opening-day home draw against Stoke -- and boss Aitor Karanka must decide whether to pitch him straight into action. Skipper Grant Leadbitter is still working his way back from a hernia operation and fellow midfielder Marten de Roon will be sidelined for two weeks after sustaining a hamstring strain against Stoke. Bernardo Espinosa (knee) and James Husband (shoulder) are still out.

Provisional squad: Valdes, Barragan, Friend, Nsue, Ayala, Gibson, Adomah, Clayton, Ramirez, Forshaw, Downing, Negredo, Baptiste, Konstantopoulos, Fischer, Rhodes, Stuani, Nugent.

- WEST HAM

Slaven Bilic is likely to once again shuffle his pack. The Hammers boss made a number of changes for Thursday's Europa League play-off draw against Astra but could hand the likes of Dimitri Payet their first starts of the season. Aaron Cresswell and Manuel Lanzini (both knee) are missing while Andre Ayew could miss four months with a thigh injury and Diafra Sakho (back) and Sofiane Feghouli (hamstring) are also absent.

Provisional squad: Adrian, Randolph, Byram, Masuaku, Collins, Reid, Ogbonna, Oxford, Antonio, Nordtveit, Kouyate, Obiang, Noble, Payet, Tore, Valencia, Carroll, Fletcher, Calleri.

- BOURNEMOUTH

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe is expected to retain much of the team that lost to Manchester United. Howe refused to be disheartened by their 3-1 home defeat, believing the game to have been "even''. He remains without the injured Junior Stanislas, owing to a groin injury, while Tyrone Mings is not expected to return until September.

Provisional squad: Boruc, S. Cook, Smith, L. Cook, Daniels, Francis, Surman, Gosling, Gradel, King, Federici, Wiggins, O'Kane, MacDonald, Pugh, Grabban, Wilson, Ake, Arter, Afobe.
