Friendlies: Gerard Deulofeu scores but Everton fall to Dynamo Dresden

Gerard Deulofeu scored on a sharp free kick but Everton lost to Dynamo Dresden in their first game of the Dresden Cup on Friday night.

John Stones played 70 minutes despite transfer speculation linking him to a move to Manchester City.

In the earlier game at the Dresden Cup, Nahuel scored the only goal in the 67th minute as Real Betis earned a 1-0 win against Werder Bremen. Everton will face Real Betis on Saturday, while Bremen go up against the hosts.
