Previewing Pep Guardiola's project at Manchester City

We have learned a fair bit about Pep Guardiola since speculation last enveloped his upcoming project. Three years ago, when he was about to take charge at Bayern Munich, many perceived the Catalan as an idealist wedded to the Barcelona DNA, and when the Bavarians later bought Mario Gotze, the immediate suggestion was that Guardiola would replicate his false-nine 4-3-3 system by making Gotze the new Lionel Messi.
