Blackburn racked up a fifth-straight league victory to nudge into third place in the League One table by coming from behind to win 3-2 at Peterborough.

Charlie Mulgrew and a Bradley Dack brace sealed the win after Posh's Steven Taylor had pinched an early opener.

In-form Rovers went straight on the front foot and were denied an early lead by both wasteful finishing and the brilliance of Posh keeper Jonathan Bond.

Dack teed up Richie Smallwood to cross for Dominic Samuel, but the Rovers front man somehow...

Kieron Morris' early strike ended Scunthorpe's run of six league wins on the spin as a 1-0 victory lifted Walsall into the top half of League One.

After a quiet start, Walsall led after 13 minutes as Morris let fly from the left-hand corner of the box, 20 yards out, and his rocket took a slight deflection to beat Scunthorpe goalkeeper Matt Gilks.

Florent Cuvelier came close to doubling the Saddlers' lead on the half-hour with a dipping 25-yard half-volley that flashed narrowly over Gilks' bar.

Goals from Nick Powell and Dan Burn ensured Wigan Athletic comfortably overcame the challenge of Fleetwood Town to record a 2-0 win at the DW Stadium and cement their position on top of Sky Bet League One.

It was a thoroughly miserable afternoon for Town boss Uwe Rosler, who was making his first return to the DW Stadium since being relieved of his duties as Wigan boss in November 2014.

The home side took only seven minutes to get into their stride, with Powell on hand to nod home a delightful cross...

Toumani Diagouraga scored a dramatic 90th-minute winner as Plymouth Argyle soared off the foot of League One to beat basement rivals Gillingham 2-1.

Diagouraga smashed the ball home at the second attempt to claim his first goal for Argyle.

Striker Tom Eaves thought he had scored in the 14th minute as Argyle's emergency on-loan Derby County goalkeeper Kelle Roos scrambled to hold the striker's shot.

The ball appeared to cross the goal line but the referee - aided by his assistant - waved play on.

Shaun Whalley struck four minutes from time to ensure Shrewsbury avoided a third straight League One defeat as they drew 1-1 at MK Dons.

The Shrews had lost four of their previous five in the third tier and that record looked set to worsen when Peter Pawlett's first goal of the season early in the second half put the Dons in the ascendancy.

But Whalley's unstoppable drive from 30 yards denied the home side what would have been only their second league win since September and their first in four matches
