Moritz Leitner strikes to rescue Norwich in Old Farm derby; Bristol City score four

Ipswich Town and Norwich City played to a 1-1 draw in the Old Farm derby at Portman Road on Sunday.

Gwion Edwards gave Ipswich the lead in the 57th minute when his shot was deflected in after on-loan Burnley striker Jonathan Walters won a header in the penalty area.

But Moritz Leitner equalised for Norwich in the 71st minute with a shot from outside the area that drifted through a number of players and into the net.

Ipswich midfielder Cole Skuse was treated for a head injury shortly before half-time and replaced by Trevoh Chalobah after a lengthy delay.

Bristol City scored four unanswered goals to defeat Blackburn Rovers 4-1 at Ashton Gate to move into sixth place.

Josh Brownhill equalised in the first half for City, and their scoring run continued in the second half with goals from Marley Watkins, Famara Diedhiou and Marlon Pack.

Charlie Mulgrew opened the scoring for Blackburn in the 13th minute when he found the back of the net from a corner at the near post with goalkeeper Niki Maenpaa caught flat-footed.

Brownhill brought his side level in the 38th minute from a free kick, and Watkins doubled the lead in the 55th.

Diedhiou entered as a substitute and scored in his debut in the 73rd minute and Pack added his side's fourth goal in the 82nd.
