Leeds have announced the signing of Spanish winger Alfonso Pedraza from Villarreal. Pedraza, 20, moves to Elland Road on loan until the end of the season with a view to a permanent move in the summer. Alfonso terminated a loan move with Lugo in order to join Garry Monk's men and becomes United's first January move. Leeds had been hoping to make a switch for West Ham striker Ashley Fletcher but that move broke down when Hammers boss Slaven Bilic ruled out any last-minute departures. Alfonso will not be available for Monk against Blackburn on Wednesday but could come into the squad to face Huddersfield at the weekend.
