Cardiff City have announced that West Ham midfielder Ravel Morrison has joined the Championship club on a three-month emergency loan deal, subject to international clearance.
Morrison, 21, has made two appearances for the Hammers this season -- in the Capital One Cup against Sheffield United and the Premier League against Southampton -- but the arrivals of several new signings and a string of disciplinary problems have stalled his progress at Upton Park.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer stepped down as Cardiff City manager last week after less than nine months in charge and the Bluebirds will be hoping that Morrison's arrival can boost their promotion prospects as they currently sit 16th in the Championship table after eight games.

The England under-21 international enjoyed a similar spell on loan at Queens Park Rangers last season, scoring six goals in 17 appearances as Harry Redknapp's side secured promotion to the Premier League.
Morrison will link up with the Welsh side until Dec. 26 and could make his Bluebirds bow against Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.
