Millwall boss Ian Holloway is expected to hand a debut to striker Lee Gregory when his side host Leeds on the opening day of the Sky Bet Championship season.
A summer signing from non-League FC Halifax, Gregory will be looking to continue his form from last year when he scored 31 goals in 39 appearances for the Shaymen.
Centre-back Paul Robinson is unavailable after he agreed a loan deal with Portsmouth this week, while Nicky Bailey (calf), Ed Upson and Richard Chaplow (both hamstring) are all doubts for the season opener.
Ricardo Fuller and Magaye Gueye are among five new summer signings who could be handed debuts by Holloway.
Leeds will be without winger Aidy White and young prospect Lewis Walters for first-team coach Dave Hockaday's first competitive game in charge.
White is expected to be sidelined for up to five weeks after damaging ankle ligaments in last month's 2-2 friendly draw at Chesterfield, while Walters will be out long-term - at least four months - following surgery to repair knee cartilage damage.
Striker Noel Hunt has been struggling with hamstring trouble in recent weeks, but latest signing Nicky Ajose is hoping to make his debut and all of Leeds' other summer recruits are hoping to be involved.
Midfielder Tommaso Bianchi, goalkeeper Marco Silvestri, defender Gaetano Berardi and striker Souleymayne Doukara are all in contention to make their first competitive appearances for the club.
