Jordan Rhodes opened his goal scoring account for Middlesbrough with a dramatic last-minute equaliser to earn his side a 1-1 draw at MK Dons.

Dean Bowditch's ninth-minute goal had looked to have given relegation-battling Dons a vital win, but Rhodes climbed off the bench to net a leveller deep into stoppage time at stadium:mk.

It was Rhodes' first goal for Middlesbrough since joining from Blackburn last week and helped his new side move a point clear at the top of the Championship standings.

Paul Clement sacked as manager at Derby County

Paul Clement is no longer in charge at Derby County.

Paul Clement has been sacked as head coach at Derby County, the Championship club have announced.

The Rams announced on Monday evening that Clement, who was appointed to the role last summer, had been relieved of his duties, with academy director Darren Wassall taking over until the end of the season.

Derby are without a win in their last seven league games and lie fifth in the Championship table.

The midlands outfit -- eighth last season under Steve McClaren -- are currently five points behind...

Only one point separates the top three teams in the Championship after Burnley's 1-0 victory over Hull left the title race wide open.

Steve Bruce's Tigers remain top of the table on goal difference but their six-match winning run in all competitions was ended when Sam Vokes broke the deadlock at Turf Moor.

Vokes netted a predatory winner in the 77th minute for his third goal in four games as Burnley extended their unbeaten league run to seven matches.
