Leicester 'sunk' under the pressure at Millwall - Steve Morison

Steve Morison has said Millwall knew they could upset Premier League champions Leicester City in the FA Cup when left-back Ben Chilwell asked not to take throw-ins because "his fingers hurt."

The 10-man third tier side eventually won 1-0 thanks to a 90th minute Shaun Cummings strike and Millwall striker Morison said Leicester "sunk" under the pressure.

"The left back, he started taking throw-ins and after a couple of bits of verbal he didn't want to take a throw-in," Morison is reported as saying. "I'm not being funny, he said his fingers hurt him.

"Come on, we're playing football. He didn't want to take a throw-in after that. He asked the centre half to take the throw-ins in the first half. You either sink or swim when you come here. Three Premier League teams have come here and they've sunk."

Millwall manager Neil Harris echoed Morison's views and picked up on a similar incident that illustrated Leicester's susceptibility to an upset.

"You could see they don't want the physical battle and so they're going to come unstuck because it's what we do every week," Harris said.

"I love it. We spoke about it before, we wanted to be hostile on the pitch. It wasn't knocking someone over and asking if they are okay and picking them up. We're here to win a game. We could've just sat off and rolled over with 10 [men] but we didn't. It's a great carrot to get to Wembley."

Milwall, who have already beaten Bournemouth and Watford in the FA Cup this season now travel to Tottenham Hotspur in the quarterfinals.
