FA Cup final team news: Walcott starts for Arsenal; Giroud, Wilshere on bench

Theo Walcott will start up front for Arsenal in favour of Olivier Giroud for Saturday's FA Cup final at Wembley, while Arsene Wenger has selected Wojciech Szczesny ahead of No. 1 goalkeeper David Ospina.

Arsenal are looking to lift the trophy for a second consecutive year, and Wenger has opted for Walcott -- who scored a hat trick on the final day of the season against West Brom -- to lead the line instead of Giroud, who has not scored in his last eight appearances.

Szczesny, who on Friday distanced himself from "idiotic" comments made by his estranged father which were critical of Wenger, starts despite losing the No. 1 role to Ospina earlier this season, while Jack Wilshere has not made the Gunners XI.

Meanwhile, Villa boss Tim Sherwood has selected Shay Given to start in goal ahead of U.S. keeper Brad Guzan, while Christian Benteke heads Villa's attack looking to continue his fine goal-scoring form.
