Celtic's 13-year-old Karamoko Dembele represented England under-15s on Monday, having already appeared for Scotland's U16s.
Dembele made his debut for England's U15s in a 5-3 win against Turkey at St George's Park on Monday, having played for Scotland's U16s in last month's Victory Shield.
The English Football Association (FA) and Scottish Football Association (SFA) are both hoping to convince the London-born midfielder, who moved to Glasgow at the age of five, to pledge his international future to them, while he would also be eligible to represent Ivory Coast due to his parents. He will not be tied to a national team until he makes a competitive appearance for a senior side.

Dembele, who has played for Celtic under-20s, had previously been invited to train with England's youth setup at St George's Park in October.
SFA chief executive Stewart Regan said in October that the governing body will do all it can to secure the youngster's international future.
"We can only do everything we possibly can in our power," he said. "Ultimately the choice will come down to the boy and his parents, but we will do all we can to make him a Scotland player."
