Eintracht Frankfurt's Guillermo Varela: Frankfurt's nicer than Manchester

Guillermo Varela has said he does not miss life in Manchester, telling reporters that Frankfurt is "much nicer."

Varela, 23, joined Eintracht Frankfurt on loan from Manchester United in the summer and is on his way back to full fitness after suffering an ankle injury in early September.

The right-back, one of several players to join Frankfurt on loan in the summer, said: "I've been back in team training for two weeks now and I am working hard on my comeback.

"If the coach gives me the order to play, I am ready."

Varela said he would consider staying at Frankfurt for a further season and added: "I don't really miss the city of Manchester, because I think that Frankfurt's a much nicer place.

"But first things first -- I want to be 100 percent fit and play in a few matches this season. We'll sit down after that."
