Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Marco Fabian confident of quick injury return

Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Marco Fabian has said he hopes to return from injury in the next two or three weeks.

Fabian has been sidelined with a back problem and is yet to feature for his club in 2017 but said: "It gets better every day."

The Mexico international, who complained of the problem following the team's winter training camp in Abu Dhabi, told Bild his recovery had been boosted by treatment from a specialist in Madrid.

"I tried everything, got a total of 30 injections," Fabian told Bild. "It gets better every day now. I am delighted I did not need to undergo surgery."

Earlier this week, he returned to Frankfurt and is confident that he can make a return soon.

"I hope that I can resume full training in two, three weeks," Fabian, who has scored three goals and set up six for Frankfurt this season, said.

On Wednesday, Frankfurt announced that they will tour the U.S. in the summer and play three matches against MLS clubs.

Executive Axel Hellmann told the club's official website: "This tour is an important part of our internalisation strategy."
