Mohamed Salah welcomes fans after home address leaked on Facebook

Mohamed Salah showed his humility by responding to his adoring fans in incredible fashion after details of his Cairo address were leaked on Facebook.

Fans reacted to the Facebook leak as one would have imagined they might, thronging to Salah's address without a care for their hero's privacy, but the Liverpool and Egypt star was unfazed by the crowds outside his property.

Salah went outside to sign autographs for his fans despite having only just returned home after the Pharaohs' disappointing World Cup campaign.

Egypt returned from Russia having lost all three of their fixtures in Group A, but Salah scored both of their goals, one each against Russia and Saudi Arabia, after controversially missing their opening fixture against Uruguay with the shoulder injury he sustained playing for Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League final against Real Madrid.

The World Cup campaign was a disappointment for Salah after his stellar season for Liverpool that had concluded with his injury as the Reds lost the Champions League final.

Apart from the results, he was the subject of reports, confirmed to ESPN FC, that he was considering his international future with Egypt because of his unhappiness about being drawn into a political row during his stay in Chechnya with his national team during the World Cup.

The Chechen controversy was the latest that Salah had experienced while on international duty, with the forward winning a battle against the Egyptian FA in April over the use of his image rights.
