Arsenal legend Tony Adams has confirmed he is in talks with Brondby about taking over as coach of the Danish club.

Adams, 49, told Danish newspaper BT that he has been in regular talks with Brondby owner and chairman Jan Bech Andersen since November.

"He is a great guy and I really like him and his vision for the club," he said. "Brondby is a fantastic football club, probably the biggest and best in Denmark. So of course I'm interested in the coaching job.

"We talk regularly. Whether that leads...

Nicklas Bendtner training with Copenhagen after Wolfsburg release

A Leicester City fan may be crying for the wrong reasons and Bendtner has been released from Wolfsburg.

Denmark international Nicklas Bendtner is training with FC Copenhagen following his release by Wolfsburg last month.

Former Arsenal forward Bendtner is available on a free transfer after Wolfsburg reached an agreement to terminate his contract, which still had a year to run, with club CEO Klaus Allofs later saying his 2014 arrival had been "an experiment" and "not a successful one."

The 28-year-old is now working on his comeback after his agent, Ivan Marko Benes, contacted the player's hometown...

ESPN FC's Craig Burley says him like most others did not think Ranieri was the man for the job in Leicester, and he has proven everyone wrong.

Leicester City are in talks to sign Ghana international Daniel Amartey from FC Copenhagen after having a £5 million bid accepted, sources have told ESPN FC.

Copenhagen confirmed the negotiations for Amartey, who can play in defence or midfield, on Thursday.

The Danish club said in a statement: "There are rumours today in the market that FC Copenhagen is planning to sell the football player Daniel Amartey to English club Leicester City.

"FC Copenhagen can confirm that it has received an offer...

Midtjylland draw to clinch their first Danish title

FC Midtjylland secured their first Danish title on Thursday night as they got across the line with a goalless draw away to relegation-threatened FC Vestsjaelland.

The result moves Midtjylland 10 points clear of FC Copenhagen with three matches left to play, ensuring they can at last taste glory having twice previously finished as runners-up in the Superliga -- in both 2007 and 2008.

The point is also of some use to the hosts, although they still have it all to do as they sit second bottom of the...
