Crystal Palace have announced that Brede Hangeland has signed a new contract with the Premier League club.
Hangeland's previous terms were due to expire in the summer but he has now agreed a one-year extension at Selhurst Park.
The centre-back, who turns 34 on Saturday, has made 14 league appearances, scoring two goals, since joining Palace from Fulham in 2014.

Hangeland told the club's official website: "I'm delighted to have signed with Crystal Palace for the new season. I have really enjoyed working under Alan Pardew and we have a very talented squad who are all a really good bunch of lads to be around.
"These are very exciting times at the club and I look forward to playing a part in making next year in another successful one."
