Yannick Bolasie set for new contract offer from Crystal Palace, sources say

Crystal Palace plan to offer winger Yannick Bolasie a new contract, sources told ESPN FC, as transfer speculation continues to mount around the in-form winger.

Bolasie impressed again as Palace recorded a 3-1 win against Liverpool last weekend, as the Eagles took some of the gloss away from Steven Gerrard's last day at Anfield with their convincing victory.

Liverpool are among the clubs linked with a summer move for the player who scored a Premier League hat trick at Sunderland last month, yet Palace do not need to sell their top assets this summer and are keen to do all they can to hang on to Bolasie.

Palace manager Alan Pardew said last month that Bolasie was worth in excess of £20 million and suggested his club may not even be tempted to sell their DR Congo international if that kind of offer was lodged.

Bolasie, 25, joined the club from Bristol City in August 2012 and his previous contract was due to expire last summer when Palace stepped in with a fresh offer and tied him down to a three-year contract.

That has proved to be an astute piece of business as Bolasie emerged as a shining star in Pardew's Palace revival in recent months, with their mid-table Premier League position cemented by their performance against Liverpool last Saturday.

Sources told ESPN FC that Palace will offer Bolasie another new deal as they hope to further secure their potent attacking lineup after signing Jason Puncheon to a new four-year contract last week.

Pardew has hinted that Bolasie's price tag has been rising at a rapid rate in recent months, confirming last month how highly he rates the French-born winger.

"I'll sell Yannick if someone wants to give me £40-60m, somewhere in there, that would be good," Pardew said. "I'll take it and we'll build the team around that money. Every player has a price, of course.

"All these players here are undervalued, in my opinion. This is a top-10 team or top-12 team, yet if you put the valuation of our squad against any of the other teams above us, and some below, it's not right.

"When I hear figures being talked about players, they are not even close to where I value these players. It's very easy to address: a manager has to ring me up, I will tell him the price and that will be addressed."
