No transfer interest in Crystal Palace's Yannick Bolasie, says Alan Pardew

Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew has rejected any semblance of transfer interest in Yannick Bolasie, with the winger also playing down suggestions of a Selhurst Park exit.

Following Pardew's claim before last weekend's defeat to Hull that Bolasie would be worth between £40-60 million, the speculation has begun about who could match it.

That market value has, in fact, been trebled by Pardew since early April, when Bolasie was rated at £20 million with Liverpool seemingly interested.

On the field, Bolasie has been in fine form, scoring a hat trick against Sunderland on April 11, although he failed to make an impact when Palace lost to Hull.

Nevertheless, when pressed about any further interest in the former Bristol City man, Pardew said: "No one's come in for Yannick. He was disappointed last week, he needs to hope that he gets selected this week."

Bolasie is one of several players that Pardew feels are undervalued at the club and perhaps for good reason, given the former relegation contenders are now on course for a top-10 finish in the Premier League.

Four wins out of the last six, including one over Manchester City, meant the spotlight was soon going to focus on Pardew's players, though Bolasie is taking his manager's comments with a pinch of salt.

"For me, the price tag from the gaffer hasn't changed me," Bolasie told the Croydon Advertiser. "I'm a grounded lad, it won't change anything.

"The gaffer must be just joking around, to be honest. It's football, and if that's what he thinks then that's what he thinks.

"I am happy here at Palace. I am enjoying my football and that's the main thing."
