Reigning Copa Libertadores champions San Lorenzo were unable to qualify from the group stage.

With the group stage of the Copa Libertadores now complete, it's time to take a look at the five biggest talking points from South America's biggest club competition.

SAO PAULO -- A Brazilian hospital says Peru striker Paolo Guerrero has dengue fever.

The Corinthians player has been hospitalised since Saturday with high fever and body pain. Doctors suspected the mosquito-borne disease was to blame and tests released on Tuesday confirmed the diagnosis.

The 28-year-old striker is expected to be sidelined for about two weeks. He already missed Corinthians' match in the Sao Paulo state championship on Saturday and will not be able to play in the final stages of the...

Another three have no possibility of making the cut. That means that until Wednesday of next week, 26 clubs are competing for 13 remaining slots. Here are some of the hottest places to look over the next few days.
