LA Galaxy draw with Comunicaciones to win Group D; Tigres advance

Four MLS teams will face four from Liga MX in the CONCACAF Champions League knockout stages, which were set after Wednesday's group stage games.

Exact times and dates for each of the matches is yet to be determined, but the games are expected to be played between Feb. 23 and March 2.

CONCACAF Champions League Matchups:
1. Club America vs. 8. Seattle Sounders
2. D.C. United vs. 7. Queretaro
3. Real Salt Lake vs. 6. Tigres
4. Santos Laguna vs. 5. LA Galaxy

In Wedneday's games, the LA Galaxy left Guatemala with a 1-1 draw against Comunicaciones after conceding a stoppage-time goal.

The Group D match was level until late in the second half when substitute Alan Gordon scored for the Galaxy in the 84th minute.

With the game in stoppage time and the Galaxy looking to secure the win, Rolando Blackburn levelled for the hosts from close range.

The draw means that LA will be a five-seed in the quarterfinals and will face Santos Laguna when the knockout round resumes. A win would have seen them finish

Tigres managed a 0-0 draw with Herediano in its final group stage match, though the result was still enough for the Liga MX club to win Group B and make it through to the quarterfinals.
