Olimpia beats Seattle in Group F, Tigres draw with Herediano

Tigres earned a hard-fought 1-1 draw on the road against Costa Rican club Herediano in CONCACAF Champions League Group B action.

The Liga MX club, who finished with 10 men after a 49th minute Damian Alvarez red card, took the lead early with a goal from Antonio Briseno.

Jonathan Hansen levelled for the home team with a penalty in the 33rd minute. The two teams are tied on points atop their group.

Alberto Elis scored in the 60th minute to help Olimpia beat the Seattle Sounders 1-0 and improve to 1-1-0 in Group F. Seattle dropped to 1-1-1.

Donis Escober made one save for the shutout.

Last week in Seattle, the Sounders rallied to beat Olimpia 2-1 on Erik Friberg's goal in the 90th minute and Brad Evans' penalty kick in the final seconds of stoppage time.

Seattle will complete play in the three-team group at Major League Soccer rival Vancouver (0-1-0) on Sept. 23. Olimpia will finish with two games against Vancouver, in Canada on Sept. 16 and in Honduras on Oct. 22.

Panama's San Francisco held on to beat Liga MX club Queretaro 2-1 in the teams' Group C match.

Sinha put Queretaro in front in the 77th minute, but Richard Rodriguez and Martin Gomez scored late goals withing three minutes of one another to pull out the win for the hosts.
