After being knocked out of the Europa League qualifiers for the second year running, Layla Anna-Lee and Don Hutchison discuss how West Ham can improve.

Reece Burke has joined Wigan on a season-long loan from West Ham. The defender, who turns 20 on Friday, recently signed a new four-year contract with the Hammers.

He spent last season on loan at Bradford, making 36 appearances, and played in the Europa League for Slaven Bilic's men earlier this term.

Wigan boss Gary Caldwell said on his club's official website: "As soon as we were made aware of Reece's availability, we worked hard to get him here as we knew there was interest from a number of Championship...

Aguero has until Wednesday at 6 p.m. BST to answer to the charge,...

Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has revealed that he turned down a bid of €50 million from West Ham United for the French club's star striker Alexandre Lacazette.

Lacazette, 25, scored 21 league goals in Ligue 1 last season and had already found the net six times this term before being taken off injured during last weekend's 4-2 loss at Dijon.

Aulas is trying to make Lyon into a competitive force on a European level and has overseen the development of a new 59,000-capacity stadium that opened...

West Ham suffer at Manchester City as Slaven Bilic gets tactics wrong

West Ham suffered a 3-1 defeat at Manchester City on Sunday.

West Ham never looked as if they would repeat last season's shock 2-1 win at the Etihad, but only a last minute goal from Raheem Sterling produced the 3-1 result that Manchester City deserved on Sunday.

The injury-hit Hammers looked as if they might face a similar thrashing to their 6-0 League mauling two seasons ago when they fell 2-0 behind inside 20 minutes. But coach Slaven Bilic made a change to his three-man central tactic during the break and Michail Antonio's 58th minute goal even threatened...
