Watford sign Nathaniel Chalobah from Chelsea in permanent deal

Nathaniel Chalobah has departed Chelsea in search of more first-team football.

Watford have confirmed the signing of England U21 midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah from Chelsea in a permanent deal reportedly worth £5 million.

Chalobah has signed a five-year contract to return to Vicarage Road -- where he spent the 2012-13 season on loan from the Blues -- in search of regular first-team football in the Premier League.

Watford's Mario Suarez joins China's Guizhou Hengfeng Zhicheng

Mario Suarez signed for Watford in January 2016.

Watford midfielder Mario Suarez has joined Chinese Super League side Guizhou Hengfeng Zhicheng FC, the Premier League club have announced.

Suarez, 30, moved to Vicarage Road from Fiorentina in January 2016 but made just 17 appearances for the Hornets.

He spent last season on loan at Valencia, where he played 24 times for the Liga side.

Suarez, who has three caps for Spain, will become a teammate of former Everton, Hull and West Ham striker Nikica Jelavic at Zhicheng.

Watford have announced the signing of England under-21 midfielder Will Hughes from Championship club Derby County.

Hughes, 22, has put pen to paper on a five-year contract at Vicarage Road and joins for an undisclosed fee, reported to be £8 million.
