LOS ANGELES -- Chivas will represent the Liga MX in next season's Copa Libertadores after defeating Veracruz 2-0 in the Supercopa MX on Sunday at StubHub Center, while Tigres defeated Pachuca 1-0 in the Campeon de Campeones tie in front of 27,167 fans at the same venue.

MEXICO CITY -- After Ricardo "Tuca" Ferretti achieved his 400th win as head coach when Tigres beat Club America, and after Dorados picked up its first win since Nov. 2015, Week 8 of the Liga MX's 2016 Clausura has come to a close.

Even though Rayados lost 4-0 against Cruz Azul, Antonio Mohamed's men remain in first place, while Chivas and Veracruz continue to be the only clubs without wins in the current season.
