The Premier League's battle for Champions League, Europa League

The ESPN FC crew give their thoughts on Leicester finally being crowned champions of the Premier League.

The Premier League gets four places in the Champions League, with the top three going direct to the group stage and fourth entering in the final qualifying round.

There are also three places available in the Europa League -- going to fifth in the league plus the winners of the FA Cup and the Capital One Cup. As Manchester City won the latter and are all but certain of finishing no lower than sixth, that place will transfer to the league.

So, fifth in the league (and the FA Cup winners) will go direct...

Tottenham must recover from their Chelsea ordeal, come back stronger

Mauricio Pochettino spoke after Tottenham's 2-2 draw with Chelsea, ending their title hopes, and its effect on his squad.

As the light died on Monday night, Tottenham raged. Perhaps it was the taunts of Eden Hazard and Cesc Fabregas that triggered it, or the provocation of Diego Costa. Maybe it was simply the pain and frustration at knowing their Premier League dream was beyond them. Regardless, at Stamford Bridge, Spurs did not just go down in flames. They went down burning.

Tottenham's Mousa Dembele faces lengthy ban after stormy Chelsea game

Mauricio Pochettino spoke after Tottenham's 2-2 draw with Chelsea, ending their title hopes, and its effect on his squad.

Tottenham midfielder Mousa Dembele looks to be facing a lengthy ban after the Football Association charged him with violent conduct and said a standard three-game suspension "is clearly insufficient."

The FA has also charged Chelsea and Tottenham with failing to control their players and officials after the tempestuous 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge on Monday.

Dembele appeared to try to scratch the eye of Chelsea striker Diego Costa in a confrontation shortly before...

Spurs' Mauricio Pochettino ahead of peers in avoiding 'preventable' injuries

Mauricio Pochettino spoke after Tottenham's 2-2 draw with Chelsea, ending their title hopes, and its effect on his squad.

Much has been made of Mauricio Pochettino's ruthless training regime and emphasis on fitness. The Tottenham head coach is famed for working his players relentlessly in double, and occasionally triple, sessions.

Harry Kane has spoken of being pushed "to the limit," while Kyle Walker admitted Pochettino's drills are "hard, sometimes not enjoyable." The most oft-cited assessment of the Argentine's methods was then-Southampton midfielder Jack Cork's claim that you need "two hearts" to play for him.

Tottenham have changed perceptions this season - Christian Eriksen

Mauricio Pochettino spoke after Tottenham's 2-2 draw with Chelsea, ending their title hopes, and its effect on his squad.

Christian Eriksen believes Tottenham Hotspur have changed perceptions about the club with their performances this season.

Monday's 2-2 draw at Chelsea ended Spurs' hopes of beating Leicester to the title but they are guaranteed their best ever Premier League finish, and are on course to achieve a record Premier League points haul.

Tottenham have long had a reputation as a talented but mentally fragile team, traits best epitomised by Sir Alex Ferguson's infamous prematch team talk to his Manchester...
