Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino: No issue with Jan Vertonghen

Jan Vertonghen was left out of the starting lineup for the game at Manchester City on Saturday.

Tottenham Hotspur head coach Mauricio Pochettino has rejected talk of an issue with Jan Vertonghen, insisting the Belgium defender remains happy at White Hart Lane.

Vertonghen, 27, had been one of the first names on the team sheet ever since arriving from Ajax in 2012, yet has found it hard to pin down a regular first-team berth this term.

His place on the bench in Saturday's 4-1 defeat at Manchester City reignited rumours that all may not be well between the defender and Pochettino -- something...

Sources: Spurs not interested in Upton Park; talks ongoing with MK Dons

Upton Park appears to no longer be an option.

Tottenham have not considered approaching the development company charged with developing West Ham's Upton Park with a view to renting the stadium for the 2017-18 season but are talking with MK Dons over a groundshare, sources have told ESPN FC.

Spurs are looking for an alternative home for one season as they redevelop White Hart Lane, with reports saying that may be tempted to move into the ground West Ham will vacate when they make their move to London's Olympic stadium in the summer of 2016.

Spurs seek to get City hammering out of system with Euro vision

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino commends Sergio Aguero for his dominant performance.

If Tottenham's 4-1 defeat to Manchester City seemed a disappointment at the time, subsequent results have eased the pain. Arsenal and Manchester United could only draw with teams that they were favourites to beat, while Liverpool struggled to overcome Queens Park Rangers, the worst side in the Premier League. Schadenfreude can be a great leveller.

As mentioned in my review of Saturday's loss, there were definite positives to be taken from the match. If you discount Tottenham's deadbeat defence and...

Man arrested after drone flown during Manchester City-Tottenham match

Watch all of Saturday's Premier League highlights, headlined by Southampton's 8-0 win over Sunderland and Sergio Aguero's four goals against Tottenham.

A 41-year-old man from Nottingham was arrested and has been bailed for eight weeks pending further enquiries in connection with a drone that was flown over Manchester City's Etihad Stadium, according to reports.

Police said they received reports that a remote-controlled aircraft was flying over the East Stand of the ground during City's 4-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.

Police said a man was controlling the device in the car park of the Asda supermarket opposite the stadium.

Lukas Podolski: Hell will freeze over before Arsenal-Tottenham transfer

ESPN FC analyst Craig Burley sounds off on Arsene Wenger's lack of accountability, discusses Sunderland's disgraceful loss to Southampton and congratulates Sergio Aguero on joining some elite company with his four-goal game.

Lukas Podolski says "hell will freeze over" before he leaves Arsenal to join north London rivals Tottenham.

Podolski, 29, is unhappy at the Emirates having played just 36 minutes of Premier League football this season, while his only start of the campaign came in the Capital One Cup defeat to Southampton.

Despite Arsene Wenger promising the striker that he has a future at the club, Podolski has made his situation well known, saying that the situation "needs to change now."

But if he does leave Arsenal...
