Andrea Belotti celebrated his first Italy call-up with a hat-trick to help Torino to a crushing 5-1 win against Bologna.

The 22-year-old, who missed an injury-time penalty as Torino lost 3-2 to AC Milan last weekend, also saw one saved in the closing stages of this game, but there was still time for him to complete his treble.

Belotti grabbed a first-half double, the opener with his head and the second a close-range strike, either side of a fine solo goal from Bologna forward Saphir Taider.

Bacca bagged his first with a diving header to convert Ignazio Abate's cross after 38 minutes but three minutes into the second half Torino, managed by Sinisa Mihajlovic who was sacked by the Rossoneri last season, were level when Andrea Belotti headed home a Cristian Molinaro cross.

Bacca immediately restored the hosts' lead...

Lorenzo De Silvestri, right, will play for Torino this season.

Torino completed the signing of defender Lorenzo De Silvestri from Sampdoria on Thursday for an undisclosed fee.

Torino unhappy with reported Chelsea target Nikola Maksimovic

The ESPN FC crew discuss how new Chelsea manager Antonio Conte managed Monday's game against West Ham.
Chelsea manager Antonio Conte expressed his joy at his team's performance against West Ham, citing possession and intensity.
Nikola Maksimovic's future at Torino is in doubt after he returned to Serbia without permission.

Torino have reprimanded defender Nikola Maksimovic after he refused to train at the weekend amid speculation about a move to Chelsea.

Maksimovic flew back to his native Serbia on Friday rather than presenting himself for training, infuriating Torino coach Sinisa Mihajlovic, who has questioned whether it was his own choice or whether his agent had influenced him.

The 24-year-old has been linked with Napoli as a potential replacement for Kalidou Koulibaly should the Senegal international complete...
