The LA Galaxy have signed United States international midfielder Joe Corona on a permanent deal, the club announced on Wednesday.

"Joe is an experienced and quality player who can immediately address an area of need for our club," Galaxy general manager Dennis te Kloese said. "I am familiar with Joe from his time in Liga MX and think he can be an impactful player on our roster. We are excited to welcome Joe to our team and look forward to his contributions."

LAFC have signed midfielder Alejandro Guido from Club Tijuana of Liga MX.

Guido, 24, will be added to the roster upon receipt of his international transfer certificate, the club announced Wednesday.

Tijuana name ex-FC Dallas boss Oscar Pareja as new manager

Liga MX side Tijuana named Oscar Pareja as the club's new manager on Tuesday.

Pareja joins Tijuana after parting ways with FC Dallas last week, where he had coached since 2016. 

Pareja replaces interim boss Franky Oviedo, who took over at Xolos following Diego Cocca's dismissal last month.

Tijuana languished for much of the Apertura 2018 season in Liga MX and finished 15th place in the 18-team table.

FC Dallas, Oscar Pareja part ways amid links to opening at Tijuana

FC Dallas have parted ways with manager Oscar Pareja amid reports that the Colombian will take on the same role at Liga MX side Tijuana.

Sources told ESPN Mexico that Pareja has agreed to a deal with Tijuana, who fired Diego Cocca after having lanquished for most of the season in Mexico's top division.

Celta Vigo fires ex-Monterrey, Club America boss Antonio Mohamed

Celta Vigo sacked coach Antonio Mohamed on Monday and replaced him with Portuguese Miguel Cardoso after a poor start to the season that has left them 14th in La Liga.

The Galician club have three wins from 12 matches and lost 4-2 at home to European champions Real Madrid on Sunday under Argentine Mohamed who replaced Juan Carlos Unzue in May.

Mohamed managed several prominent clubs in Mexico before going to Celta. He won league titles with Club America and Tijuana, as well as a cup title with Monterrey.
