The quarterfinals of the Liguilla have come and gone, with Chivas, Club Tijuana, Pachuca and Pumas all bumped from the Fiesta Grande. The semifinals are set to kick off on Wednesday when Leon hosts Tigres, but before they get started, we asked our experts Tom Marshall, Cesar Hernandez and Nayib Moran what's next for the tournament's big-name losers.

Mauro Boselli and Luis Montes netted late goals on Saturday to send Leon through to the Liga MX Apertura semifinals, just as 10-man Club Tijuana looked set to record a famous comeback victory.

Xolos raced to a 3-0 lead at half-time to tie the series 3-3 on aggregate and would've gone through due to finishing higher in the regular season, but Boselli headed in nine minutes from the end and Montes made the final score 3-2, with the aggregate 5-3 in favor of Leon.

LEON, Mexico -- Club Leon thrashed Club Tijuana 3-0 on Wednesday in the first leg of the Liga MX Apertura quarterfinal.

Mauro Boselli headed in the opener in the 12th minute, with Fernando Navarro converting from close range six minutes later. German Cano added the third just after the hour mark.

Xolos -- managed by former Mexico coach Miguel Herrera -- went into the game as the top seed from the regular season, but Leon came out flying and could've been more than two goals up by half-time.
