After seven weeks of Liga MX Apertura action, Morelia boasts the league's best attack with 15 goals. But its undefeated Tigres in the top spot with the best defense.

Ismael Sosa scored his fourth goal of the Apertura, but it wasn't enough to secure all three points against Veracruz, as Agustin Vuletich leveled the mark at one apiece at El Volcan. Ricardo "Tuca" Ferretti's side is the only remaining undefeated team in Liga MX.

Week 5 of the Liga MX Apertura is officially in the books. Club Tijuana has proven its position as the team with the league's best offense, while Tigres boast the best defense.

MEXICO CITY -- Club Tijuana continued its excellent start to the 2016 Apertura, while Pachuca keeps getting results thanks to the dynamic youngsters its youth academy has been producing over the last few years. Even if some clubs have taken off in the Apertura, there are still several that are trying to find their rhythm, while two of this week's matches ended in 0-0 draws between Queretaro and Cruz Azul and Toluca versus Tigres.
