Pumas and Leon's great starts to the Clausura are great for the spectacle in Liga MX, but there's more than one team still searching for its best form. Many clubs are still integrating new faces to their rosters, which means that the best part of the league won't start until somewhere around Week 7. Club America could still strengthen their squad before the end of the transfer window.

The Clausura is finally underway and a common theme throughout the first days was that several of the goalscorers were notable Mexican youngsters. Players like America's Henry Martin, Toluca's Alexis Vega, Pumas' Jesus Gallardo and Chivas' Javier Eduardo "Lalo" Lopez all scored goals.

It feels like just yesterday that Tigres won their sixth Liga MX title at Monterrey's Estadio BBVA Bancomer, but the new season is only several hours from beginning. As was the case last season, only one manager of the 18 is from Europe; the only difference is that it's no longer Paco Jemez, but his replacement Pedro Caixinha.
