Rogerio Ceni closing in on Ryan Giggs' record for most wins at one club

Goalkeeper Rogerio Ceni scored his 123rd goal in Sao Paulo's 2-1 win over Bahia in the Brasileiro.

Sao Paulo goalkeeper Rogerio Ceni is on the verge of breaking Ryan Giggs' world record for most victories with a single club.

Giggs, who spent 24 seasons as a member of the Manchester United first-team squad, racked up a total of 589 wins with the Red Devils, according to CONMEBOL's official website.

Ceni, 41, has matched that feat with Sao Paulo and is one victory away from making the record his own.

Kaka and Pato wage training ground egg-smashing battle at Sao Paulo

With the pair already sounding like children's cartoon characters from the early 1990s, Sao Paulo teammates Kaka and Pato made sure that the club's 2014 team photoshoot was infected with humour.

While the rest of the squad lined up for their photo, a mischievous Pato appeared in the background and, thanks to a lengthy run-up, proceeds to well and truly slam-dunk an egg onto the head of poor, defenceless Kaka.

Thankfully, Kaka later got his own back after chasing and pinning Pato down in the dugout...
