FC Rostov can upset Manchester United if they 'stick to the plan' - Mevlja

FC Rostov centre-back Miha Mevlja is unfazed about his team's chances against Premier League giants Manchester United in Thursday's Europa League second-leg clash.

Jose Mourinho's side holds a slender advantage over the Russians thanks to the 1-1 draw in Rostov last week, with Henrikh Mkhitaryan's opener being cancelled out by Aleksandr Bukharov's equaliser.

Mevlja, however, remains bullish that the Russian Premier League can cause an upset and advance to the quarterfinals.

Sources told ESPN FC earlier this week that Rooney was in contention to return to the United squad after missing Monday's 1-0 FA Cup quarterfinal defeat against Chelsea through a leg injury.

However, Mourinho said that the England captain has not recovered in time for the game along with Martial, who also missed the Chelsea...
